vintage resaurantware / restaurant ware dinner plate in the “myr15” pattern from mayer china. made in beaver falls, pennsylvania, usa. according to the 3 number date mark on the back, this plate was made in the third quarter of 1970. the “myr15” pattern is characterized by a gold band of the rim of white dinneer plate. in its hey-day mayer china produced plateware for all the major railway lines, hotels and restaurants in the usa. restaurant ware or restaurant grade china is known to be “bus boy” proof so it is sturdy, durable and dishwasher safe. the gold band on this plate adds a touch of sophistication an glam to any table setting. i have taken a bunch of pictures to help give you an accurate idea of the condition. please, please, please look at them and enlarge them. i always try to highlight any flaws with the pictures. they are, by far, the most important part of my ad. please allow for color variations from screen to screen. let’s keep it real, colors do vary from device to device. your item has been shipped with shipping insurance. accidents do sometimes happen. if it does arrive damaged or broken, please contact me and we will work through the insurance claim process together. please be sure to include clear pictures of the damage. evidence of damage is needed to make an insurance claim. please remember that this item is used, not new. do not expect new condition at a used price. it may have light markings/wear associated with being used.
