Yes. But, IT IS WHAT IT IS! I have put a lot of love and effort into building this guitar and making it perfect. Apart from it starting life off as a modest budget Guitar, (one that already punches well above the belt I should add) I believe that in this particular build I’ve really nailed it. The JB / Jazz pickup set interact perfectly in this style guitar. The sound is smooth, responsive, crisp, and airy, when played thru a clean channel. Then can really bring the hammer when thrown a little dirt its way. The guitar is perfect for playing anything from metal, classic rock, or the blues. Between the bridge and neck, it’s probably one of the most versatile setups available. It has a clear, unmistakable tone that you’ve undoubtedly heard on many classic recordings. With all the upgrades, this truly is one of my most favorite guitars to play. I believe the changes I made to it are a HUGE improvement over what it used to look and sound like. The Black & Cream zebra pickups, the clear and chrome hardware, all come together to really compliment the beautifully flamed Blue Ocean Maple top. And, with the guitar now properly wired and loaded with Seymour’s JB / JAZZ hot-rodded combo set, with a single coil split mod, it really opens up the entire palette and full potential that this 24 fret guitar, with its fast neck and sleek and contoured solid Mahogany body, has to offer. I’m reluctantly listing it for sale, but I simply have too many guitars on hand to play. This is one of my very best efforts and I’m really proud of the way it came out. It is a finely tuned instrument that I hope will find an owner who can commit to giving it the playing time it deserves.
