Under no circumstances should any work be completed underneath the vehicle if it is not adequately supported, as serious injuries and death can occur. 1.Turn the air suspension switch to the off position.(switch is located on the driver side of the luggage compartment.)2.Raise the vehicle.3.Remove the rear wheel and arch liner.4.Remove air spring solenoid retaining clip.5.Rotate solenoid counter-clockwise to the first stop, and then carefully pull down to vent the air pressure from the air spring. After air spring is deflated, turn again and remove solenoid from air spring.6.Depress the four plastic locking finger clips in bottom of air springs piston to unclip air spring from the lower suspension arm. *Installation Guideline:1.Replace the O-rings on the air spring solenoid and lubricate.2.Install solenoid, and replace solenoid retaining clip.3.Replace the top air spring retaining clip.4.Insert the air springs upper cap into the two holes in chassis and twist to lock back into place. The rear air spring will fit in either RH or LH.5.Insert the plastic locking fingers of lower piston into lower suspension arm. Make sure they are locked in place. You need to visually verify that all of the four plastic fingers are correctly retained.6.Replace the tire and wheel assembly. Tighten wheel hub bolt nuts to manufactures specifications. Remove all safety stands and lower vehicle.7.Partially lower the rear suspension. Do not lower to the bump stops.8.Turn the air suspension switch to the on position.9.Start the engine and let the air suspension rise to normal trim height. *Removal Warning & Notice: Vent all air pressure from the air suspension system prior to disconnecting or removing any air suspension components. It is dangerous to remove air suspension components while under pressure. Failure to follow this instruction may result in serious personal injury. Any air spring which is unfolded must be refolded prior to being installed in a vehicle. Refer to the procedure. An incorrectly folded air spring could rupture, altering the handling characteristics of the vehicle. Do not attempt to inflate any air spring which has been collapsed while uninflated from the rebound hanging position to the jounce stop. When installing a new air spring, care must be taken not to apply a load to the suspension until springs have been inflated using the air spring fill procedure.
