Miniatures may be Lead or White metal, some parts may be plastic or resin. Items will be carefully and professionally packaged in bubble wrap and sent in a Jiffy bag. Metal miniatures are stripped (unless sold as New or Painted), so you can see exactly what you are getting. The picture shows the standard of the item that you will receive, likely not the actual one that you will receive. The picture may show a painted item so you can see what the figure can look like with time and effort. I try to get all items reconditioned back to what they were when originally sold. Any lead rot, it’s binned. Damaged or poorly cast items are either binned, or if sold then they are clearly labelled as damaged, as people may want these for conversions. Books are sold as Reconditioned, if they are second hand, or New if they are mint.Additional pictures may show the reverse of item but you only get one of what is shown in the main listing picture. If additional pictures show other items then they will be included. The listing may state “Dwarf 7 Dwarf Dwarves” this means that the original catalogue description was Dwarf 7 and the other descriptors are so people searching can find what they want. The range covers real world historical, such as Victorian, Wild West and World War 2 eras, cyberpunk, fairytale, modern, sci-fi, post-apocalyptic, steampunk and superhero figures, amongst others. These mini’s are useful for Doctor Who, GURPs, Mindjammer, Paizo’s Starfinder, Paranoia, Rogue Trader, Shadowrun, The Call of Cthulhu and Traveller and many more. You will receive the unpainted listed item MIB (which means Mint in Blister / Box) otherwise referred to as BNIB (Brand New in Box).This female Witch figure, with classic pointed hat, bears a very strong resemblence to the infamous villain known as the Wicked Witch of the West from The Wizard of Oz. That evil Witch was nameless in the 1939 film that most people recall. This was also the case for L. Frank Baums book that the film came from, which was actually called The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. There were many changes between the two, the main one being that Dorothy’s red shoes were actually silver in the book. This was changed for the technicolour film, as I presume they would stand out more, and silver would likely just look grey in the new film stock used and the whole point was to get away from black and white shades. The shoes used in filming were actualy a very dark red, as theold film stock would have made a very bright red look orange. The Wicked Witch of the West has actually been named in other books and films and series. Other names that have been used for the evil Witch are Momba the Witch, Bastinda, Elphaba, Old Snarl-Spats, Lynessa, Theodora, Zelena and the Mistress of the Western Fields, Vessel of Truth and Solace. Although later versions of her have not always been portrayed as evil. This metal figure is in a standing pose holding a classic witches broomstick. This old hag would prove useful as a Magic User, Sorceress or possibly a rather nice looking Necromancer. There are two hand options for this figure, an open hand in a clawed position, or one holding a wild west style long barrelled revolver. This miniature is approximately 41mm tall. This miniature has three separate parts (you have an option of which arm to use) and I always advise drilling and pinning models like this. Reaper have moved into plastic with their Bones range, but you can’t beat metal on the table. Reaper Miniatures are a leading hobby and adventure industry brand.
