It sounds amazingly good. It has signs of regular use, but it is extremely clean inside and out.Please take a look at the photos.It comes with a brand new remote control. This is not original remote control, but has all the features (and many additional) of the original one.2 original Philips transport screws are also included.If you have a high resolution system you will hear the sound improvements from the first moment you play the music from this player. If you do not, then this is a good start to improve your system and find out the weak link in your system as with this player you will have the audio source that you can use as a reference.This player is modified to work in NOS (Non Over Sampling) Mode and sounds fabulous. The best description is musical and analog sounding.Its sound performance will surpass many high end CD players costing thousands. Yes, it is true. I have checked and already compared.The NOS (Non Over Sampling) mode disables digital manipulation that is fundamentally damaging sound quality. Running it in NOS mode you will hear exact content written on CDs without any damaging bitstream manipulation. Simple and pure.Here is a short description o the modifications:TDA1541 set to work in NOS mode.Major capacitors around DAC are upgraded.Ceramic caps around the DAC are removed and replaced with high quality film capacitors.Copper strip is also applied on the DAC to help thermal release.Additional capacitors are added for fine noise filtering.Output OPAMP is upgraded to LME49720. New OPAMP is a top performing part for this purpose and surpasses performance of the generic OPAMP used in the original circuit.Output signal capacitors are replaced with high grade audio capacitors.Anti-vibration ring is installed on the Crystal Oscillator.Laser lens is cleaned up.Loading mechanism is lubricated for smooth operation.All power regulators are re-soldered to ensure reliable long term operation.Additional high quality film capacitors are installed for critical voltage rail fine noise filtering.RCA connectors are cleaned up.Power connector blades are also cleaned.I hope this player will bring a new life to your CD collection.The sound is very reach and analog (tube like).
