After being frustrated with the performance of various scanner antennas that I have purchased over the years, I decided to use my years of experience and love for scanners, to create the antenna that I wanted. I first created several concept antennas. I used identical scanners to compare signal strength. After many different styles and prototypes, I finally created what I had been searching for… the MAXX-TENNA antenna. This allows for optimum positioning and installation.· The MAXX-TENNA has 10-50 feet of cable included with a convertable straight or right angle BNC connector on one end (to attach to your scanner) and a twist-on “F” connector on the other end (that attaches to the antenna.) The twist-on connector is removable which allows for more installation options.
