Vintage Enicar Star Jewels Watch. Enicar was once before the quartz crisis one of the major Swiss watch makers. ‘Star Jewels’ relates to the ultrasonic cleaning process of the Jewels during the watch assembly process. Dial: Reasonable condition with some age related pitting on the dial and also on the hour indicies. Grade B. Crystal: Acrylic, re polished. Case: Excellent condition with few minor scratches which are barely visible . 35mm excluding crown. Grade A. Crown: unsigned. Strap: Black Leather. Movement: Very clean original Star Jewels Swiss movement keeping good time. Grade A. Please note that this watch is over 60 years old and predates modern quartz movements. Therefore, +-3 represents 99.9% accuracy. You will get a watch that ticks, and the second hand ‘sweeps’ in a way that a modern watch never can. The watch winds by wearing it!
