The system may be armed by either using the key fob or by using a smart phone app. Once in the armed mode the camera is waiting for an alert from either the built-in motion sensor in the camera itself or from one of the external wireless sensors. Whenever the alarm is triggered the siren begins sounding and an alert is sent to the smart phone to notify the owner. The camera begins recording video and audio. You may also speak with the intruder using the 2 way communication feature on the app. You can use either the Yoosee app or YYP2P app (search on Google Play store or Apple App store) for the download. The apps are FREE and basic function does not require any subscription fees or have nag screens. We recommend that you download the app of your choice to your phone and test it before purchasing a system to see if you like it and think it may work well for you.
