Amscope 40X-1500X Trinocular Inverted Infinity-Corrected Phase-Contrast Microscope w/Kohler Illumination and 9MP Global Shutter Camera Sku: IN480TC-FL-9MG3 Key Features 40X to 1500X expanded magnification range using a reversed quintuple lens turret and additional 25X eyepieces for nine unique settings. An inverted epi-fluorescence microscope with blue and green excitation blocks and a high-power HBO arc-lamp for broad-spectrum coverage. The inverted format is a stable, ergonomic platform for cell cultures, multi-well plates, and larger specimen containers. The infinity-corrected optical system ensures high-quality, high-resolution images. Specialized 10X, 20X, and 40X objective lenses are included for phase-contrast applications, further improved by the fully-customizable Koehler illumination system. The trinocular photo port provides a dedicated interface for mounting a camera. Includes a highly-sensitive 9MP USB 3.0 camera with global-shutter technology and specialized microscopy software for PC, Mac, and Linux The IN480T-FL provides a gamut of tools needed by any laboratory performing live cell studies and genetic research. This highly versatile inverted epi-fluorescence microscope is equipped with a Koehler transmitted illumination system for brightfield and phase-contrast observation, and a wide-spectrum episcopic illuminator for fluorescence observation. Two filter blocks are provided for common fluorophores, and additional filters are available for expanded coverage. The large stage and swing-out condenser-holder can accommodate a range of specimen containers including slides, dishes and flasks. The Viewing Head The viewing head has a 45° incline and Siedentopf interpupillary adjustment for flexibility and comfort. Super-widefield optics provide a larger field-of-view so you can see more specimen at any magnification. For users with astigmatism or asymmetrical vision, the left ocular can be adjusted to fine-tune focus. The trinocular format provides a dedicated photo-port for mounting a microscopy camera for capturing photos or videos. A sliding shutter isolates the light path when using a camera, avoiding stray light from the oculars during fluorescence imaging. The 23mm photo port is height-adjustable to match focus with the eyepieces, and can be replaced with an optional CX series C-mount port which have built-in reduction, and can directly interface with C-mount cameras. Optics The infinity-corrected optical system eliminates optical errors and ensures highly precise images. The quintuple objective turret provides instant access to 5 magnification levels. This allows you to efficiently move through magnifications from 40X to 600X. Additional 25X eyepieces expand the maximum magnification to 1500X with 9 unique levels. These high-quality lenses are achromatically corrected to improve resolution and color accuracy, with planatic flat-field correction to provide edge-to-edge sharpness. The Stage The large stage can accommodate slides, multi-well plates, dishes, and short flasks thanks to a number of included stage templates. Two plates are supplied for the stageâ€™s aperture, including glass and key-holed metal for varying light control. A large mechanical caliper can hold and position any of the sample templates for precision placement. An extension is provided for an additional 70mm width when needed. Koehler Transmitted Illumination The Koehler transmitted illumination system consists of a centerable 30W halogen lamp, a field lens with iris, and a centerable, height-adjustable condenser with iris. The ability to center the lamp and condenser, along with the field and aperture diaphragms, allow for highly-efficient, optimized illumination for maximum resolution. Along with height adjustment, the condenser can be swung out of the light path. A slide-in annulus board provides two centerable phase-contrast annuli, as well as an open setting which can be used with colored filters for band-isolation or color-correction. Epi-fluorescence Illumination A 100W mercury-vapor episcopic illuminator provides wide-spectrum lighting for fluorescence excitation.
