If there was no number of clubs rule, then with all the wedges and specialty clubs, caddies would have to use Pull Carts too! I don’t know how to describe this club. Trick Club, Gimick Club, Advantage Club, or whatever. You noticed in the pics that the Club Face is Black. That is an insert made of soft plastic. I believe the principle is that when your Club Head Comes into contact wwith the ball, the soft plastic insert and some sand if used as a Sand Wedge, will impart extra spin on the ball and make the ball spin back when it hits the putting surface, or if not spin then come to a dead stop, The rest of the Club Face is ridged to help out. I was curious enough that I took this club to my local driving range and tried it the bunker and in the turf off the green. I didn’t get it to spin back that much, but that might have been just me, but most all of my shots did stop fairly short, and again that might have just been me. This Club Head is in good condition. Very few nicks and dings from bag rattle or play, The Club Face does show some wear on the insert, but one of the pro shop pros told me that the insert was supposed to be replaceable, The Sole has only light scuffing. The Shaft has no name on it, and appears to be between Regular and Stiff. The Grip is a Grip One Uniwrap in good condition. Club will be protectively packaged and shipped USPS Ground Advantage.
