This listing is for a 6 pack of hand tied marabou jigs for steelhead, trout, walleye, bass, crappie and probably more! Choose from 4 different Jig Weights and 2 hook styles:1/8 ounce jigs and size 2 hook, Premium or Standard1/16 ounce jigs and size 4 hook, Premium or Standard1/32 ounce jigs and size 6 hook, Premium or Standard1/64 ounce jigs and size 8 hook, Premium or StandardAbout the hooks:The Standard wire hook is very sharp and offers decent strength. These are Mustad: 32755BR, regular bend Aberdeen Bronze finish. The Premium hook is 2X Strength and is also very sharp and offers excellent strength. These are Mustad: 32833BLN, Double Strength Aberdeen Hook, Black finish. They are specifically designed for Steelhead and Salmon fishing. This is a very strong hook. The eye of the hook is shorter than comparable hooks to produce more point exposure and more hookups. Each jig is whip finished (knotted) 2 times and glued twice for extra thread durability. I started making jigs after becoming disappointed with the amount of feathers that my local shop was putting in their jigs and not really being able to find these types of marabou jigs elsewhere with the tinsel and/or flashing. For each Jig at the 1/16 oz size, I tie in 3 clumps of feathers, working them up the shaft of the hook. This not only provides a fuller body on the jig, it makes for a nice full jig that has been outlasting the jigs from my local shop. Each jig head is powder paint coated and cured for extra hardness (if painted). You will receive 2 each of 3 varieties. 2 orange head, with brown and orange feathers, including pearl flashing. 2 white head, with all brown feathers, including pearl flashing. 2 black head, with all orange feathers, including pearl flashing.Add my items to your cart and save even more!
