Beautiful About Uncirculated Silver Coin From British North Borneo 1929 Scarce Small 25 Cents Mint Mark H For your British Territories or World Coin Collection-BNB01 Details Description: A beautiful about uncirculated scarce small silver coin from British North Borneo. This is the rather scarce 1929H silver Twenty Five cents coin. The coin displays the arms of British North Borneo flanked by two natives on the obverse. The obverse also displays the mint mark “H” near the bottom. The reverse displays the denomination in the center surrounded by the legend “STATE OF NORTH BORNEO” and the date 1929. The coin has a reeded edge and is nicely toned with some residual luster and great eye appeal. It is KM 6, weighs ~2.8 grams of 0.500 silver and is ~18 mm in diameter. Please carefully review the photos presented as they are part and parcel of our description. Date: 1929 Mint: North Borneo (Actually the coin was struck in Birmingham England as evidenced by the H mint mark). Size and weight: Coin weighs ~2.8 gm of 0.500 silver and is ~18 mm in diameter. References: It is KM #6. Condition: I would grade this beautiful coin as about uncirculated. The coin has all of its details well preserved with minimum observable wear commensurate with its AU grade. The coin has a few scratches and minor bag marks to the surface, which can be seen in the photos. However, these do not affect the coin’s quality or beauty. The coin is also toned with some residual luster and some soiling with a few minor light stains. Other than that this is a great looking coin that is problem free.
